Key Responsibilities- Assist the nursing and surgical team in providing basic medical and personal care to patients.
- Prepare surgical sites and assist with patient transportation to and from the operating room.
- Monitor and maintain a safe and clean environment in the pre-op and post-op areas.
- Assist with inventory management and restock supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with the Materials Manager to ensure accurate inventory and supply levels.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain certification and stay up-to-date on industry developments.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2 years of patient care experience preferred.
- CPR certification required.
- Basic working knowledge of Microsoft and Google suites.
- Basic working knowledge of EMR systems.
This position requires working in an ambulatory surgery center environment with occasional work outside of normal business hours, including evenings and weekends.
Physical and Mental DemandsThis role requires standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods, as well as lifting, carrying, and moving heavier objects. Excellent vision, hearing, smell, and balance are also required.
