About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Mammography Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of radiological technical procedures specific to the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease.
  • Work collaboratively with our skilled Imaging/Radiology team to ensure comprehensive and compassionate imaging care for our patients.
  • Serve as a patient advocate and apply compassionate communication skills to ensure a positive patient experience.
  • Model excellence in professional radiologic practice and maintain a high level of technical expertise.
  • Collaborate with radiologists to perform all departmental special procedures.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and application of radiation safety principles for both patients and self, and provide radiation protection when appropriate.
Requirements
  • Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology in an AMA-approved school.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Certified with the State of Washington Department of Health.
  • Mammography Certification required, or eligible for certification; if eligible, must obtain certification within 6 months of hire into this job classification.
  • Previous experience with electronic patient information systems and/or mammography tracking systems preferred.
