Position Overview: Responsible for the assembly of products that fall outside the category of standard production cabinets. This includes, but is not limited to, reception desks, nursing stations, partition walls, display cases, ADA-compliant fixtures, soffits, and marker/tack boards.

Work Schedule: Expected to work an average of 50 hours per week, with potential weekend shifts and overtime required.

Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Proficient in the use of essential tools such as tape measures, combination squares, table saws, portable power miter saws, sliding table saws, radial arm saws, saber saws, portable routers, pocket screw machines, and pneumatic nailers.
  • Familiarity with techniques like tapering, scarf joints, and operating jointers and thickness planers.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and cut lists, with a knack for identifying potential issues in shop drawings.
  • Experience working with various materials including particle board, MDF, melamine, plywood, veneer, laminate, fabric, acrylics, and lightweight composites.
  • Capable of generating accurate cut lists.
  • Goal-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively with others, as well as work independently.
  • Strong mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
  • Commitment to producing high-quality products in a cost-effective manner.
  • Positive attitude towards personal, departmental, and organizational objectives.
  • Respectful communication with colleagues and clients.
  • Team-oriented mindset.

Physical and Working Conditions: The physical demands of this role require standing, walking, and using hands and fingers to handle or feel objects. Employees must be able to lift over 50 pounds and possess specific vision capabilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
