Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Mark Twain Medical Center. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our licensed staff in delivering high-quality healthcare services.

Your Role

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to assist the licensed staff in providing unskilled care to patients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met. You will work closely with our healthcare team to provide safe and efficient care, promoting a positive patient experience.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
  • 6 months experience in extended care or acute facility
  • Certification from nurses aide training program in State of California
  • Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
  • Demonstrated skill in patient transfers to wheelchairs, gurneys, etc.
  • Demonstrated skill in proper use of body mechanics
  • Demonstrated skill in taking vital signs
  • Demonstrated skill in dealing with the public and using the telephone correctly
  • Must possess organizational skills for all physical duties and be able to work with diverse groups of people
  • Able to do work in spite of frequent interruptions
  • Ability to read work product of others, computer/monitor screens, computer printouts
  • Able to perform mathematical calculations
  • High level of concentration and attention to detail
  • Ability to work with a team and prioritize work
  • Professionalism and confidentiality skills required
