About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Behavior Specialist to join our team at Total Spectrum Care. As a Senior Behavior Specialist, you will play a key role in providing clinical leadership and supervision to our team of behavior technicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide oversight and supervision to behavior technicians, ensuring high-quality care and adherence to best practices in ABA therapy.
  • Mentor and support behavior technicians in their professional development, providing guidance and feedback to help them grow in their roles.
  • Write reports and conduct clinical reviews with funding sources, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of client progress.
  • Attend monthly regional meetings for ongoing training and supervision, staying up-to-date on the latest developments in ABA therapy.
  • Conduct regular parent/caregiver trainings, educating families on the principles of ABA therapy and how to support their child's development.
  • Treat the safety of clients and others involved in each case as a top priority, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all.
  • Consult with clients and provide continuous program direction and maintenance, ensuring that each client's needs are met and their goals are achieved.
  • Analyze data/behavior and make data-based decisions, using evidence-based practices to inform treatment plans.
  • Guide ongoing implementation of teaching procedures, ensuring that each client receives high-quality care and support.
  • Ensure program directives from senior clinical team are implemented accurately and timely, maintaining a high level of quality and consistency in our services.
  • Deliver individualized, person-centered care rooted in the principles of assent-based treatment, prioritizing each client's unique needs and goals.
Requirements
  • Master's degree or enrolled in Master's degree program.
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or expected to sit for the BCBA exam within 12 months of obtaining a master's.
  • Supervision hours in progress or completed (as outlined by the BACB requirements).
  • Certification, registration, and/or license as required by local statutes to deliver behavior treatment.
