Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement a systems engineering approach to translate operational needs into technically feasible, affordable, and operationally effective solutions.
  • Develop and maintain key program documents, including Systems Engineering Plans (SEP), acquisition strategies, and risk management plans.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including engineers, contractors, and military personnel, to ensure alignment and integration of program objectives.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Provide technical leadership and oversight for systems engineering activities, including requirements analysis, design, integration, testing, and evaluation.
Requirements:
  • Relevant Master's Degree or Bachelor's Degree with additional years of experience.
  • Bachelor's or higher in engineering is required: Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Systems Engineering, etc.
  • 10+ years of project management and systems engineering experience.
  • Active & Current DOD Top Secret or DOE Q Clearance (non-negotiable).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • USAF DOD ACAT1 Program Office Experience.
