Position Responsibilities

  • Administer medications to residents while adhering to Federal and State regulations, as well as Senior Lifestyle Corporation policies.
  • Conduct admissions for new residents, ensuring all assessments and documentation are completed accurately.
  • Develop and implement both acute and long-term care plans tailored to individual resident needs.
  • Assist in clinical system tracking, such as monitoring wounds or infection control, under the guidance of the director.
  • Provide health-related consultations within the community to support resident well-being.
  • Communicate any changes in residents' health to physicians and family members, ensuring proper documentation is maintained.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies, demonstrating a high level of preparedness.
  • Maintain effective communication with all departments and staff members to ensure cohesive care.
  • Facilitate educational sessions for residents and staff to promote health awareness.
  • Understand and participate in the Safety & Disaster Plan as required.
  • Uphold the confidentiality of resident information and documentation.
  • Manage discharges, assessments, and clinical documentation as necessary.

Qualifications

Educational Background: Completion of an accredited program in licensed or vocational nursing.

Field of Study: General nursing.

Experience: Minimum of 1 year in senior care or a related field.

Licensure: Must possess a current Licensed Practical Nurse's License in the practicing state and be CPR certified.

Language Proficiency: Adequate English proficiency to perform job responsibilities and communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues, especially in emergency situations.

Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate as part of a team while managing multiple tasks safely and effectively.

Personal Attributes: Strong capacity to work under pressure and manage critical situations with composure and professionalism.
