Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Tilt-Up Concrete Carpenter to join our growing team. This individual will be responsible for performing tasks involving commercial construction projects, including forming, setting, and finishing concrete.

Essential Functions
  • Perform a variety of tasks involving concrete, including forming, setting, and finishing.
  • Assist in erecting, moving, placing, and stripping various formwork.
  • Maintain a clean job site, ensuring all tools and equipment are picked up and secured each day to eliminate potential hazards.
  • Ensure proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed, bringing any issues to the attention of the Superintendent/Foreman, Safety Manager, Safety Officer, or HR Manager.
Requirements
  • Some knowledge of tilt-up type concrete projects.
  • Some knowledge of first aid and applicable safety precautions.
  • Ability to work as a team and complete daily activities according to the work schedule.
  • Ability to repeatedly lift and carry heavy objects (50 pounds), walk and stand for long periods of time, and perform physical labor under adverse field conditions.
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing in either English and/or Spanish.
  • Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely.
  • Ability to understand, follow, and transmit written and oral instructions.
  • Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
Special Requirements

Must be able to pass controlled substance tests prior to and at all times during employment.
