We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Services team at Centennial Hospital. As an Operating Room Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare for each procedure and/or surgery by ensuring adequate stock and equipment are available in assigned areas.
- Assist with post-procedure workload, including cleaning the room between procedures, putting away unused supplies, and setting up for the next procedure.
- Teach, supervise, and serve as a resource person and delegate in accordance with the competency level of all staff members.
- Rotate to areas other than the OR and perform only those duties that you have demonstrated competency.
- Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multi-state Registered Nurse license.
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.
- One (1) year minimum experience in the perioperative (OR) setting is required.
- ACLS and PALS certification within 6 months of hire.
- CNOR preferred.
