Job Overview

Hills Machinery - RJV Equipment is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Heavy Equipment Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling and renting heavy equipment within a defined territory.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Maintain and develop existing accounts through effective communication, networking, and lead generation.
  2. Acquire equipment sales and rentals through daily preparation, customer inquiries, and meetings.
  3. Record all sales data accurately and ensure it is up-to-date.
  4. Develop in-depth knowledge of equipment features, benefits, and attachments.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to maximize sales opportunities.
  6. Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries and communications in a timely manner.
  7. Participate in industry sales training and attend out-of-town trainings and trade shows as needed.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree preferred, with alternative education and relevant work experience considered.
  2. Proven experience in sales and promotion of equipment related to the industries served.
  3. Ability to travel to customer locations regularly and operate all products and models of equipment.
  4. Highly creative, motivated, and ethical individual with excellent communication and organizational skills.
  5. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
