About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Person to join our team at Tops Day Nurseries. As a Handy Person, you will play a vital role in ensuring the proper maintenance of our sites, prioritizing tasks efficiently and minimizing disruptions to children and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Regional Maintenance Manager in coordinating maintenance tasks and scheduling
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs to ensure the smooth operation of our sites
• Identify and report necessary repairs and upgrades to the Regional Maintenance Manager
• Collaborate with site Managers to ensure effective communication and task completion
• Contribute to various projects and initiatives to improve the maintenance and upkeep of our sites

Requirements

• Experience in maintenance works is preferred
• Full clean driving license required
• Relevant maintenance qualification desirable
• GCSE grade C or above in English & Maths preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Adaptable to changing circumstances and priorities
