Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conducts advanced technical assistance tasks; implements quality assurance review processes; responds to inquiries regarding program and administrative guidelines, rules, and policies.
  2. Assists in the oversight, evaluation, and analysis of service quality and program effectiveness; compiles and interprets data to prepare reports; recommends enhancements to treatment services.
  3. Drafts, revises, and disseminates correspondence, reports, forms, and other documentation; interprets and communicates information about agency programs and procedures; develops and maintains record-keeping and filing systems.
  4. Comprehends and adheres to approved self-monitoring protocols.
  5. Facilitates or participates in transition meetings.
  6. Encourages the development of positive social skills by modeling appropriate behaviors and intervening when necessary; provides regular feedback to staff on social skills procedures and intervention strategies.
  7. Ensures accountability of staff, clients, and property; follows safety protocols.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Criminal Justice, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field preferred. Relevant experience may substitute for educational requirements on a year-for-year basis.
  • Two years of full-time, wage-earning experience in substance abuse treatment is required.
  • Current valid license as a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) or certification as a Certified Criminal Justice Professional (CCJP) or Qualified Credentialed Counselor (QCC) in a treatment setting.
  • A valid driver's license in the state of Texas with a satisfactory driving record is required, unless waived by management.
  • Must complete annual training requirements and pass a background check, both of which must be approved by the relevant authorities. Maintaining valid licensure or certification is essential for continued employment.
