Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced MRI Technologist to work with our team in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment, preparing patients for scans, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images
  • Prepare patients for scans, including explaining procedures and positioning patients
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, including cleaning and disinfecting equipment and patient areas
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes
  • Administer medications as ordered with appropriate documentation
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • At least 1-2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist
  • Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology
  • Certifications may be required based on facility requirements
  • Physical abilities to remain in a stationary position, move and lift equipment (50-100 lbs), pushing, bending and pulling
  • Communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse personnel
