The Learning Experience #238 is a rapidly growing childcare company with a mission to make a difference in the lives of children, their families and communities. We are currently seeking an experienced Early Childhood Educator - Lead Teacher to join our team.

Role Summary

This is a full-time position that requires a high school diploma/GED and at least 6 months of professional teaching experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum, working with infants, toddlers, and preschool children. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices and CPR/First Aid Certification is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create a welcoming and engaging classroom space for young children to learn and grow.
  • Instill a love for learning and exploration by utilizing our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum.
  • Communicate with parents on a daily basis, sharing their children's latest adventures and achievements through mobile apps and personal discussions.
  • Support the center's success by partnering with staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment and engagement.
  • Ensure the safety and security of each child.

Requirements

  • Ability to build relationships with families and coworkers.
  • At least 6 months of professional teaching experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma/GED required, College ECE coursework highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices.
  • CPR and First Aid Certification preferred.
  • Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role.
