Job Opportunity: Class A Driver

This is a remote position that requires travel. The hourly pay range is $25.00 - $27.73, with up to 6% bonus eligibility paid quarterly.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and tech-savvy Class A Driver to join our team in the Northwest Region. The ideal candidate will reside in a Northwest state, live within 50 miles of a major airport, and have a valid and clean Class A license.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a company vehicle to transport medical and logistical space/equipment and staff to events via interstate commerce
  • Communicate with operational teams via cell phone/email regarding logistical movements
  • Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Perform vehicle inspections as prescribed by local, state, and federal requirements
  • Maintain travel logs and other required paperwork in an electronic format through cloud-based technologies
  • Maintain the vehicle's full service, including regular maintenance, routine checks, and cleaning
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned vehicle
  • Initiate contact with required agencies and organizations for contingency plans
  • Be responsible for route adherence and logistical movements
  • Be responsible for maintaining medical supplies and lifting/moving equipment weighing up to 70 pounds
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
  • Work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and multiple concurrent overnight stays
  • Drive for extended hours per Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines
  • Have knowledge of DOT commercial vehicle regulations
  • Have effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Complete company expense reports in a timely manner according to company policy
Requirements
  • A High School Diploma or GED
  • 3 to 5 years of commercial driving experience
  • An ability to pass DOT medical examination for commercial drivers
  • 21 years of age or older, as outlined by the DOT
  • A valid Class A Commercial Driver's License and a clean driving record for 3 to 5 years
  • A valid U.S. Driver's License and ability/willingness to drive between work locations
  • Residency within 50 miles or less from a major airport
  • An ability to pass background check, including random drug testing, and maintain a drug-free status required by DOT
