Procurement Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to oversee purchasing functions and supplier relationships. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of integrated supply chain management principles and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage internal and external customer/supplier relationships
• Measure performance of the supply base and ensure reporting processes are in place
• Develop strategically integrated sourcing strategies
• Leverage total cost reductions and quality improvement recommendations
• Evaluate new material, supply, and service developments
• Review and interpret supplier contracts
• Oversee approval and control of the purchasing function of the facility
• Monitor quality resolution mechanisms to ensure they are effective

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent education and experience
• 3+ years purchasing management experience in a manufacturing environment

Preferred Skills:

• Thorough understanding of selecting and building appropriate supply strategies

Pay Details:

$33.00 to $45.00 per hour
