Merchandising Sales Associate

Job Summary

This role is responsible for supporting the Field Activity Support Team (FAST) in executing various tasks, including planograms, physical inventories, and merchandise assembly, to ensure a well-stocked and visually appealing store environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain regular attendance and adapt to changing store needs.
  • Work varied hours, including days, nights, and overtime, as required.
  • Communicate effectively with the District FAST Supervisor on work completion, issues, and solutions.
  • Complete planograms and resets accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain visual merchandise standards and perform store-specific measurements.
  • Complete store layout initiatives and perform accurate counts for store inventories and cycle counts.
  • Hang store signage and assemble merchandise, fixtures, and PDQs.
  • Perform detailed recovery and review planogram integrity.
  • Provide legendary customer service by greeting customers, uncovering their needs, recommending products, and asking for the sale.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Self-directed with minimal assistance.
Working Conditions
  • Working environment is favorable, with moderate noise levels.
  • Work shifts vary, with no less than 4 hours and may exceed 8 hours.
  • Travel between store locations in a personal vehicle is required, often with long periods of time.
  • Promote a safe and productive work environment for Team Members and customers.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • Ability to push and pull merchandise up to 2,000 pounds with assistance.
  • Occasional lifting or reaching merchandise overhead.
  • Frequent standing, kneeling, twisting, crouching, squatting, bending, and climbing ladders.
  • Ability to safely access all store areas.
  • Ability to operate store equipment, including computers and cash registers.
  • Ability to read, write, and count accurately.
  • Ability to utilize strong written and verbal communication skills.
