Job Description

We are seeking an experienced RN Charge Nurse to join our team in Nursing Professional Development. In this role, you will utilize specialized tools and knowledge to enhance healthcare practices and promote effective education and professional development practices following our Professional Practice Model.

You will partner with staff, leadership, faculty, and researchers to create and evaluate professional development programs that improve skills and encourage ongoing learning. Your role involves advocating for practices that improve patient outcomes and promoting synergy within our organization.

  • Develop and assess professional development programmes based on recognized industry standards, facilitating professional efficiency, constant learning, and growth.
  • Predict audience needs, consider challenges, validate with stakeholders, and help with educational planning.
  • Partner in executing educational plans, utilizing strategies that encourage a conducive learning and practice environment to achieve desired results.
  • Draw from the existing literature, research, and practical experience to create, implement, and assess educational activities, programs, or projects.

Our ideal candidate has at least two years of relevant work experience, a Bachelor's degree, and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. They also have holding a Registered Nurse License (RN) from Texas as a prerequisite for this position. Pediatric experience is preferred, but not required.
