Biomedical Equipment Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Technician III to join our team at TriMedx. As a key member of our clinical engineering team, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, calibrating, and verifying the performance of highly complex biomedical equipment and systems.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical/electronics fields and a minimum of 5 years' experience working with biomedical equipment in a clinical engineering environment. A 2-year degree in a technical/electronics field or equivalent experience is required, and a Bachelor's degree in engineering technology is preferred. Technical Certification (CBET) is also preferred.
As a Biomedical Technician III, you will serve as an advisor to administrative, medical, and clinical staff in the safe use and proper operation of clinical equipment and in developing specifications for the selection of new equipment. You will also contribute to department improvement and development by mentoring other associates.

Key Responsibilities:

- Advise administrative, medical, and clinical staff on the safe use and proper operation of clinical equipment
- Develop specifications for the selection of new equipment
- Mentor other associates to contribute to department improvement and development
