Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled individual to take on the role of a CNC Machining Specialist. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of machining processes and be able to interpret technical documents effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze work orders, blueprints, and engineering specifications to plan machining tasks accurately.
  • Oversee inventory management by assessing stock levels, forecasting needs, and coordinating orders.
  • Program and operate CNC and manual mills and lathes, ensuring precision in every operation.
  • Set up machinery by installing and adjusting necessary components, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Verify machining settings through meticulous measurement and inspection of initial parts.
  • Maintain high-quality standards by monitoring machining processes and making necessary adjustments.
  • Adhere to safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on equipment to ensure reliability and efficiency.
  • Utilize CAD software, particularly CATIA, along with Microsoft Office applications for documentation and reporting.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in CNC programming within a machining context.
  • Proficient in CAD and CAM software, with a strong grasp of G-code.
  • Familiarity with various CAD systems, including Mastercam and GibbsCam.
  • Experience with Vericut software is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Demonstrated experience as both a manual and CNC operator.
  • Excellent time management skills, capable of juggling multiple projects efficiently.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
