Job Description

As an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and troubleshooting industrial machine control systems, including three-wire and PLC controls. You will also install, repair, and diagnose AC and DC motors, single and three-phase power systems up to 480 V, as well as mechanical power transmission drives and related systems, including gearboxes, chains, sprockets, belts, and pulleys. Additionally, you will install and repair general facility plumbing and perform carpentry work as required. You will support the preventive maintenance system and apply industrial lubricants, properly handle and apply basic hand and power tools, and test equipment. You will also support the plant's production equipment and setup, execute breader, mills, scalper, and sifter setup, changeover, and disassembly requirements, and be responsible for the hookup and unloading of bulk rail materials and the proper hookup of bulk material trucks. You will also be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of robotic, conveyor, and bagging systems, handle waste in compliance with EPA rules, and perform the daily inspection of forklift equipment. You must be able to operate a forklift and lift 75 pounds.

Work Environment

This is a fully on-site position in Brookpark, Ohio. The work environment is a food environment, which can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. You may need to work outside in the dock and rail yard, and there is a lot of flour and grain on site.
