Sports Medicine Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Sports Medicine Professional to join our team at Hopedale Medical Complex.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive athletic training services to athletes, including injury prevention, maintenance of health and well-being, and rehabilitation following illness or injury.

This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with athletes, coaches, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.

• Provide medical coverage at outside games, practices, and/or tournaments as needed
• Communicate with athletes, parents, athletic directors, coaches, and physicians regarding athletes' playing status and ability to return to competition
• Evaluate and provide patient treatment programs within departmental guidelines and state practice act guidelines
• Responsible for educating patients and ensuring that the physician's instructions/protocols are understood and adhered to by the patient
• Demonstrate competence in department specific tasks (modalities)
• Participate in State, District and National Athletic Training Organizations as appropriate

• Bachelor's degree in an Athletic Training Program or Entry Level Masters
• BOC certification and IL AT license or eligible
• Approximately one to two years experience of progressively responsible related experience
