Key Responsibilities- Administer physical therapy treatment plans developed by Physical Therapists
- Provide non-complex active and passive manual therapeutic exercises, modalities, and other interventions to patients
- Accurately document patient records and submit clinical paperwork in a timely manner
- Attend educational meetings and contribute to department in-services
- Notify Physical Therapists or Executive Director of equipment failures, supply issues, staff changes, and other departmental concerns
- Schedule clients and perform various office tasks
- Apply infection control and universal precautions in patient care activities
- Accept clinical assignments consistent with education and competence to care for patients
- Promote compliance with fiscal intermediaries and third-party payors through education, coaching, and assistance
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an American Physical Therapy Association
- Current state license to practice Physical Therapy
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
- Proof of current CPR certification
- Minimum two years experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant
- Comprehensive knowledge of geriatric population changes
- Self-directed, enthusiastic, and accepts constructive feedback
- Good verbal and written communication and organization skills
- Professional image and attitude for patients, families, clients, coworkers, and others
- Maintains clinical competency in Physical Therapy practice and theory
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel locally
- Able to maintain confidentiality
- Maintains current licensure certifications and meets mandatory continuing education requirements
- Fluent English language skills
- Good and regular attendance
