Job Summary

LanceSoft, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Associate Scientist to join our team. As a key member of our research and development team, you will be responsible for planning and performing laboratory assignments to develop product formulations, measuring physical properties, and validating performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute experimental protocols to optimize product prototypes and meet desired performance metrics.
  • Record detailed observations and data from experiments, maintaining accurate and up-to-date lab notebook records.
  • Present preliminary conclusions and recommendations to management, contributing to the solution of assigned problems through development and modification of test procedures.
  • Conduct standard and non-standard chemical, physical, or application tests to evaluate product composition.
  • Maintain inventory of raw materials and supplies, ensuring a safe and organized work environment.
  • Adhere to all applicable Federal, State, and Local health, safety, and environmental regulations, as per corporate policies.

Requirements:

  • Four-year college degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, or related field.
  • 0-3 years of experience working in a laboratory setting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent time management and ability to balance multiple projects.
  • Basic computer skills, including intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Formulating experience in consumer packaged goods and advanced knowledge of laundry and textiles is a plus.
