Position Summary: This role is responsible for executing limited preventative and reactive maintenance on assigned machinery and equipment under the guidance of a supervisor. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting routine preventative maintenance on various plant equipment, including conveyors, packaging machinery, slicers, pumps, loaders, and injectors.
- Diagnosing and resolving complex equipment malfunctions promptly.
- Implementing immediate and long-term corrective measures for equipment failures using root cause analysis.
- Employing advanced maintenance methodologies to evaluate equipment health and anticipate potential failures, utilizing tools such as thermographic and vibration analysis.
- Executing precision repairs and modifications on plant machinery as required.
- Utilizing schematics and blueprints effectively during troubleshooting processes.
Candidate Requirements: Applicants must demonstrate the ability to legally work in the United States and successfully complete a post-offer health assessment, including a urinalysis screening. Candidates should be at least 18 years old and be prepared to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays. A minimum of two years of experience in a manufacturing environment is required, along with at least one year of hands-on experience in industrial electricity and controls, including knowledge of PLCs, MCCs, and variable frequency drives. Basic TIG welding skills are necessary. Candidates must be capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds regularly throughout their shift and must be able to complete necessary documentation. Training will be provided for Lock Out Tag Out procedures to ensure safe operations. Proficiency in basic mathematical calculations in both American and Metric systems is essential.
