Job Summary

Ebenezer is seeking a part-time Weekend Nursing Assistant/Registered (CNA/NAR) to support our residents in our Skilled Nursing Facility (Transitional Care and Long term care). This role provides hands-on care and support services for our senior-age patients at our spacious care center in Bloomington, MN.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents based on individual care plans with personal cares such as bathing, oral hygiene, grooming, toileting, dressing, and showers.
  • Respond to call lights and may check and record vitals.
  • Turn, lift, or transfer residents with or without other persons/mechanical assistance.
  • Observe residents and report status to appropriate staff in a clear and concise manner.
  • Chart or document in electronic medical record system.
  • Seek to resolve resident and family concerns.
  • Receive and give report to appropriate staff during various times in work shift.
Requirements
  • Active as Nursing Assistant, Registered (NAR) on the MDH Nursing Assistant Registry by start date.
  • Ability to work with a diverse and geriatric population.
  • Communicate efficiently, with compassion and understanding for residents and coworkers.
