Job Title: Plumbing/Fire Protection Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Plumbing/Fire Protection Design Engineer to join our team at Ramboll. As a key member of our mission critical facilities team, you will be responsible for designing and developing plumbing and fire protection systems for new and retrofit buildings/projects in the mission critical environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop plumbing and fire protection construction documents (drawings, specifications, calculations, etc.) using computer software for review by Sr. Engineer.
  • Experience with design of plumbing and fire protection systems in mission critical facilities.
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Coordinate with other internal engineering disciplines to achieve successful, functional, and innovative designs for our clients.
  • Coordinate with other building disciplines (architectural, structural, electrical, civil, etc.) to ensure compatibility with the design intent.
  • Assist with the development of job-specific discipline specifications.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
  • EIT/PE a plus.
  • 5+ years' experience designing plumbing and fire protection systems, mission critical design experience a plus.
