About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Certified Medication Assistant to join our team at Bel Pre Healthcare Center. As a Medication Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications to residents in accordance with physician orders and state/federal regulations.
  • Monitor and record medication administration, including side effects and interactions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident documentation records.
  • Provide personal care and treatment functions for residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Graduate of an approved Nurse Aide Training Program or eligible to enter such a program and graduate within 120 days.
  • Understanding of medication administration procedures and successful completion of a state-approved training course.
  • Ability to perform basic math functions and maintain accurate records.
