Job Summary

Envista Holdings Corporation is seeking a skilled Chemical Processor to join our Alginate Department. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for mixing alginate to specifications and training others in department procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in sieving bulk materials and compounding all other ingredients, according to formula sheet (BOM) instructions.
  • Load raw materials into blender and monitor blending cycles.
  • Learn to operate the fill & seal machine to package finished good products.
  • Assist in packaging of finished product according to (BOM) instructions.
  • Work effectively in a team environment.
  • Read and comprehend Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), MI's and other required documents.
  • Ensure accuracy and take accountability of finished product by following all process procedures.
  • Adhere to all safety standards on the manufacturing floor.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly environment within the Alginate Department.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1-2 years of manufacturing/production experience.
  • Experience with completing Oracle Manufacturing transactions or similar system.
  • Forklift Certified.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong communication skills in English (reading, writing, and verbal).
  • Basic knowledge of measurements and mathematical skills.
  • Ability to move large batches of materials with forklift to replenish ingredient stocks.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to follow instructions and guidelines set forth by Production Manager or Superiors.
  • Ability to meet daily production goals in regards to safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Ability to act independently and make decisions with minimal supervision as necessary.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time (8 hours per day).
  • Good manual dexterity.
Work Environment
  • Loud production environment.
  • Exposure to solvents, oils, lubricants, plastic material fumes, ground glass, flammable & hazardous materials.
