Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our team at Amick Farms in Laurel, Mississippi. As a Refrigeration Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our refrigeration systems, maintaining a safe working environment, and adhering to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on refrigeration equipment, including compressors, condensers, and evaporators.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless operation of refrigeration systems.
  • Meet or exceed industry standards for safety, quality, and productivity.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in refrigeration maintenance or a related field.
  • RETA 1 certification within 1 year of hire date.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, lift 50 pounds, and work in tight spaces.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Maryland Stationary Engineers license.
  • Poultry experience.
