We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our energy efficiency, sustainability, and decarbonization programs. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote our programs to residential and commercial customers.
Key Responsibilities- Program Development and Management
- Develop and manage an annual calendar of programs and initiatives, including events, communications, and budgets.
- Lead the development of metrics to track program effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.
- Marketing and Communications
- Design and implement marketing campaigns to promote our energy efficiency programs to customers.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, manufacturers, and installers.
- Collaboration and Teamwork
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including customer service, operations, and finance.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes.
- Subject Matter Expertise
- Develop and maintain expertise on energy efficiency programs, including MMWEC programs.
- Provide training and guidance to customers and internal teams on program implementation and best practices.
- Grant Research and Writing
- Research and apply for relevant state and federal grant funding programs to support program development and implementation.
- Public Outreach and Education
- Develop and deliver educational events and materials to promote energy efficiency and sustainability practices to customers.
- Metrics and Reporting
- Develop and maintain metrics to track program effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.
- Travel and Representation
- Represent the Town of Marblehead at industry events and conferences to stay up-to-date on best practices and network with peers.
- Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a science, marketing, engineering, or quantitative field, plus a minimum of two years relevant work experience.
- Applicants with prior service in the U.S. Armed Forces are encouraged to apply.
- Skills and Abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
