We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Palomar Health Rehabilitation Institute. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients recover from injuries, illnesses, or disabilities and achieve their maximum potential.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans to improve their functional abilities and quality of life.
- Conduct occupational therapy evaluations, modalities, and treatments as prescribed by a licensed physician.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and effective communication.
- Document patient progress and outcomes, and participate in patient care conferences to discuss treatment plans and goals.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research, best practices, and industry developments to provide evidence-based care.
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of California.
- Previous experience in occupational therapy, preferably in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
