Radiologic Technologist

The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist performs various imaging procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. This role is responsible for positioning patients and ensuring that a quality diagnostic image is produced. The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist works closely with radiologists to achieve the highest quality of patient satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepares patients for exams; communicates instructions and information.
• Follows AIDET model to consistently achieve highest quality of patient satisfaction.
• Consistently follows all elements of prescribed electronic workflow.
• Correctly and accurately utilizes the RIS and/or PACS to access patient information, enter charges, complete examinations, record allergies, etc.
• Performs timely, accurate quality control testing as required by the imaging system manufacturer and accrediting agencies.
• Manages and utilizes C-Arm X-ray equipment for use during surgical procedures.
• Assists with collection and transport of surgical specimens to Imaging.
