Overview:
The Patient Care Technician plays a crucial role in delivering fundamental patient assistance under the supervision of nursing personnel, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adheres to the established OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
  • Responds to patient inquiries and aids individuals with their eating, bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility needs.
  • Assists in feeding patients and accurately records their food and fluid consumption.
  • Observes and documents vital signs such as temperature and blood pressure, promptly reporting any changes to the nursing staff or physicians.
  • Supports medical professionals during procedures and assists in wound care.

Qualifications:
A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred. Previous experience in a healthcare environment is advantageous. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) is mandatory.

Schedule:
7AM - 7PM
