We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Academic Clinician in Pulmonary and Critical Care to join our team at the University of Pennsylvania. As a key member of our Division of Pulmonary, Allergy and Critical Care, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows, and contributing to the development of our academic programs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert clinical care to patients with pulmonary and critical care conditions, including consultation and evaluation, management, and treatment.
- Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in pulmonary and critical care medicine, including lectures, small group discussions, and bedside teaching.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of academic programs in pulmonary and critical care, including curriculum design, educational materials, and assessment.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research projects related to pulmonary and critical care medicine.
- Collaborate with other faculty members and healthcare professionals to advance the mission of our department and the University of Pennsylvania.
- MD or MD/PhD degree
- Board certification in Pulmonary, Allergy and Critical Care
- Experience in academic medicine, including teaching and mentoring
- Strong clinical and research skills, with a focus on pulmonary and critical care medicine
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
