Job Description

As a key member of the Thermo Fisher Scientific team, you will play a vital role in the assembly and testing of our world-class chemical analyzers. Your attention to detail and ability to work independently will be essential in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble and conduct basic functional testing on a variety of electrical and mechanical parts and sub-assemblies using work instructions.
  • Participate as an active member of production cell supporting inventory and equipment management.
  • Attend daily team stand-up meetings and adhere to ISO9000 requirements, including ESD, work area cleanliness, maintenance, and calibration of equipment.
  • Participate in improvement events, such as Kaizen, 5S, and Practical Process Improvement.
  • Build working relationships with co-workers, including employees in other departments.
  • Perform transactions in the Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) system and maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • No previous work experience required, but previous experience in manufacturing, operations, production, or lab settings is preferred.
