Compensation: $29.59 per Hour Based on Experience
Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 for Full-Time Commitment
Position Overview:
As a vital member of our emergency response team, you will be responsible for delivering both basic and advanced medical care to individuals in need. Your expertise will be crucial in assessing emergency situations and implementing appropriate care protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate each emergency call to determine the most effective response while adhering to established Paramedic protocols.
- Utilize advanced medical equipment and techniques, including defibrillators, EKG monitors, and intravenous therapy, to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Engage with patients and their families to communicate the care being provided and offer reassurance.
- Lead the Paramedic team, overseeing scene management and unit operations as necessary.
- Operate the ambulance during emergency responses.
- Collaborate professionally with other healthcare providers and public safety personnel.
- Participate in community outreach initiatives to enhance AMR's reputation and foster strong community ties.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Valid State Paramedic License.
- Valid State Driver's License.
- Certification in BLS, ACLS, and NREMT-Paramedic.
- Driving record that meets company standards.
- Ability to pass a Physical Agility Test.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
