Avera Tyler is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine medical laboratory tests for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform laboratory tests and procedures to analyze patient samples
  • Conduct quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure accurate test results
  • Communicate test results to healthcare providers and patients

Requirements:

  • Associates degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) required
  • Medical Laboratory Technology certification from the American Society Clinical Sciences (ASCS) required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire

Work Schedule:

  • Varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • On-call time weekdays as needed

Compensation:

  • $22.00 - $31.75 per hour
