Postdoctoral Researcher in Ecological Modeling

This is a postdoctoral research position in the field of ecological modeling, focusing on plant-soil interactions and plant-microbe interactions. The successful candidate will work within a collaborative research team of faculty and students, utilizing mathematical, statistical, and empirical approaches in plant and microbial population and community ecology.
Responsibilities:- Leading modeling work in plant-soil and plant-plant interactions as outlined in the proposal.
- Conducting appropriate analyses.
- Writing and publishing manuscripts.
- Communicating regularly and in a timely fashion with the PI regarding research and other issues relevant to the operation of the laboratory.
- PhD in a relevant field.
- Excellent writing skills and strong statistical/analytical skills.
- Familiarity with plant-soil feedback and coexistence theory desired.
The successful applicant will work in a laboratory setting, with occasional field work. The position requires a highly detail-oriented and organized individual who can work as part of a team.
