Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Sign Language Interpreter to join our team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be working with elementary school students, supporting their academic and social development through effective communication. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and has expertise in sign language interpretation.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality sign language interpretation services to students and staff in elementary schools
- Support teachers and other educators in creating inclusive learning environments
- Develop and maintain relationships with school administrators, teachers, and other stakeholders
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A minimum of 1 year of verifiable experience as a Sign Language Interpreter within the last 3 years
- A valid Sign Language Interpreter credential/license or be in the process of obtaining one in your state of practice
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
