Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented MRI Technologist to perform a variety of imaging procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MRI technology and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Position and prepare patients for exams according to the type of procedure to be performed
  • Perform procedures and assess patients throughout, responding to their needs as appropriate
  • Complete accurate documentation for each study performed
  • Use professional discernment and critical thinking when performing procedures
  • Participate in the orientation and training of new staff members and teach students during their clinical rotations
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of scanners and exam protocols to ensure the highest quality procedures
Requirements
  • Currently registered as an MRI Technologist, or will obtain MRI registry within six months of hire date
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) verification course, as specified in policy
  • Current registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
  • One year of experience in an MRI Imaging Department preferred
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience with Client MRI systems
  • Experience with pediatric patients
  • Experience starting IVs
  • Any safety or MRSO training
