Exceptional Care for Neurological Conditions

Mission Hospital is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Neurology team on A6 West, a 36-bed med-surg neuro tele unit specializing in providing exceptional care to patients with various neurological conditions.

Our Unique Approach

We focus on stroke care and manage diverse conditions including myasthenia gravis, encephalopathies, dementia, brain, and spinal tumors. Our Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) is a unique feature of our unit, where patients undergo 24/7 monitoring for seizure activity.

We conduct tests such as tilt table testing, strobe light testing, sleep deprivation, and medication adjustments to diagnose epilepsy and tailor treatment plans, making a tangible impact on our patients' lives.

Requirements

We are seeking a Registered Nurse with a passion for creating positive patient interactions. The ideal candidate will have:

  • One year hospital nursing experience.
  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enrollment in a BSN or advanced degree program and obtain a BSN within 5 years of hire date into RN position.

Grandfathering will be accepted between departments and Mission Health entities. Exemptions or extensions may be approved by the facility CNO and reported out to the CNO Council members.
