Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians, nurses, and other medical staff by performing administrative and clinical duties under the direction of a physician.
  • Administrative duties may include scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, and ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Clinical duties may include preparing treatment rooms for patient exams, recording patient medical history, and cleaning and sterilizing medical equipment.
  • Escort patients to exam rooms, interview patients, measure vital signs, and document all information in the patient's chart.
  • Interview patients to obtain their medical history and record patient medical history, vital statistics, and test results in patient medical files.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.

Requirements:

  • One (1) or more years of experience working as a Medical Assistant.
  • Active and unrestricted Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) in California.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Fluent in Spanish.
