Job Title: Dietary Cook

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Dietary Cook to join our team at Tutera Senior Living & Health Care. As a Dietary Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and serving meals to our residents, ensuring that they receive high-quality nutrition and care.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve meals to residents in accordance with the menu and dietary needs
  • Monitor food handling, preparation, meal service, and equipment cleaning to ensure a safe and healthy environment
  • Provide nutritionally appropriate food to residents to maintain and enhance their overall health
  • Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations regarding food service and nutrition care

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior dietary experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting highly preferred
  • One year of experience as a cook in a large-scale cooking operation highly preferred
  • Professional image in both appearance and behavior
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
