About the Job
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team in the role of Admissions RN. As an Admissions RN, you will be responsible for explaining our services to patients and families, assessing their needs, and admitting them to our program when appropriate.
You will work closely with the Admissions Manager to develop and implement admission procedures, ensuring that they are aligned with company policies and guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to contribute to each patient's total plan of care.
- Visit patients and families in their place of residence or in the hospital to assess for appropriateness, explain services, monitor condition, or admit to hospice services in accordance with the admission procedure.
- Participate in evening/weekend on-call as required.
About You
- You have a Registered Nurse license in the state where the program is located.
- Bachelor's Degree and C.H.P.N. certification preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year general nursing experience, Hospice experience preferred.
- CPR Certification.
