Position Overview

The Sociology Department within the College of Social Sciences, Mathematics, and Education at the University of Tampa is seeking applications for adjunct instructors to deliver courses in the field of Sociology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop course syllabus and associated instructional materials.
  • Conduct classes in alignment with departmental standards.
  • Offer office hours for student consultations.
  • Manage course assessments and submit final grades via the online system.

Qualifications:

  • A Master's Degree in Sociology is mandatory; a Doctorate is preferred.
  • Experience in teaching at the collegiate level; prior experience in Sociology instruction is advantageous.
