Telecommunications Laborer

We are seeking a skilled Laborer to join our team at Kanaan Communications, LLC. As a Laborer, you will play a critical role in the installation and maintenance of underground telecommunications cabling.

• Perform general labor duties related to telecommunications construction, including loading, driving, delivery, digging, removal, and placement of construction materials and equipment.
• Install and maintain underground telecommunications cabling, including climbing in and out of equipment and operating or working around heavy machinery.
• Work in congested or remote areas, maintaining visual and audible contact with other crew members and ensuring safe coordination of movement.
• Perform general construction work under the direction of a Foreman/Supervisor, maintaining safe working habits and conditions according to all regulations, procedures, and policies.

• Be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States for this company.
• Hold a valid standard Driver's License or Class A Commercial Driver's License (preferred).
• Have basic knowledge of and ability to operate various types of utility trucks and equipment in a safe manner.
• Be able to lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as needed with or without assistance.
• Be able to work overtime, after hours, on weekends, for emergencies, or on-call.
