Position Summary:

Teamwork is essential, as all staff members collaborate to ensure smooth operations from preparation to closing.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Warmly greet guests at the bar and tables, present the menu, and clarify any items as needed.
  • Accurately take orders and process payments to initiate tabs.
  • Input orders into the POS system and communicate with the bar and kitchen for any special requests.
  • Check in with guests regularly to ensure satisfaction and address any needs.
  • Maintain cleanliness by removing empty glasses, plates, and trash from tables.
  • Confirm permission to charge the card before processing payments.
  • Reset tables as necessary to prepare for new guests.
  • Work collaboratively with cocktail servers to ensure timely drink preparation.
  • Exhibit a sense of urgency during busy periods while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
  • Possess basic knowledge of menu items, signature cocktails, and ingredients.
  • Be familiar with the selection of spirits and able to make confident recommendations.
  • Keep items stocked and clean as per side work duties.
  • Support team members when needed, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to uniform standards.
  • Complete required training programs related to alcohol service and safety.
  • Understand fire safety protocols and evacuation procedures.
  • Adapt to changes in job responsibilities as needed.
  • Conduct all duties in a safe manner, treating all individuals with respect.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding company operations and sensitive information.

Qualifications:

Must be highly organized and able to stand for extended periods while being active and lifting up to 30 pounds.

Strong guest service skills and attention to detail are essential.

Effective communication with guests, management, and coworkers is required.

Must be authorized to work in the US and have reliable transportation.

A current Indiana Liquor License is necessary.
