Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Courier/Driver to join our team at FedEx. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for delivering packages and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently to deliver packages to customers
  • Provide courteous and professional service to customers, including checking shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service
  • Perform route coverage for assigned areas, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of packages
  • Provide related customer service functions, including answering customer inquiries and resolving issues
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 6 months of courier experience preferred
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver packages of any weight with assistance
  • Good human relations and verbal communication skills
  • Thorough knowledge of the station's service area preferred
Working Conditions

Must meet and maintain the qualifications as outlined in the federal motor carrier safety regulations. Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations.

Neat appearance is required since customer contact is necessary. Must obtain and maintain a valid driver's license in accordance with state requirements for the type of vehicle assigned and have a good driving record.

Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is essential.

Preferred Qualifications

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.

Pay and Benefits

Starting pay is $22.43 per hour. FedEx offers a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan.
