To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
- BSN is preferred or candidates must be enrolled in a BSN program.
- Specialty certification is preferred.
- A minimum of one year of experience in an ER setting is preferred.
- New graduate RNs with relevant experience in emergency situations will also be considered.
- Ability to manage patients in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment is essential.
- IV skills for all age groups are required.
- Computer charting proficiency is necessary.
- Experience with ABG is preferred.
- Knowledge of age-specific principles of growth and development is essential for meeting patient needs.
